Category: Control Surface
The Behringer BCR200 is a control surface used for a variety of applications. Its main uses are to control software instruments or DAWs using the variable rotary controls and push encoders. As an example, if you are using a virtual instrument and it has a filter section, you can assign a rotary encoder on the BCR to the filter cutoff, etc. This means you don’t need to use your mouse to make changes, instead use a real control to do the job instead. Also, you can use the BCR’s MIDI functions for controlling rack synthesizers, samplers, sound modules, whatever. An example would be to program a synthesizer such as a Roland Alpha Juno from the BCR instead of the synthesizer itself.
